How we handle reviews

  • Real rentals only. Every review is checked against our rental records before it’s published.
  • Nothing paid, nothing traded. No gift cards, discounts or freebies for reviews, ever.
  • Good and bad. We don’t hide critical reviews. If something went wrong, we’d rather fix it in public.
  • Your words, unedited. We only remove phone numbers, addresses or profanity.
  • Your name, your choice. First name and last initial is fine.

These rules follow the Federal Trade Commission’s rule on consumer reviews and testimonials, which bans fake and paid-for reviews.

What makes a helpful review

  • The size you rented and what the project was
  • How delivery and placement went
  • Whether the dumpster was the right size
  • How pickup, swaps or extensions went
  • Anything you’d tell a neighbor before they book
